Last 2 questions after new intake instalation.

First off, When cold it likes to jump on take off for about 4 minutes. Like it wants to die and not run right. After that it runs beautiful. Idles smooth at 500 with 0 hesitation and roughness.
Second question is the Tranny like to shift for 1-2-3-4 but the from 2 to third to forth is like 1 second time laps. Car goes into overdrive at 33MPH so 3rd gear is almost never used. Why wont the car hold 3rd till like 45? Also flooring the car at 60 it wont downshift. Car has 65,000 on it and the TV cable has been adjusted numerous times

What year are we working on??

If its carbed, it sounds like the choke pull off isn't working. It will miss and run really rich for a couple of minutes until it "clears out"

As for the trans problem.....I have seen a TV cable stretch/break.

I'm not a big trans guy, maybe someone else can help better.
