fuel pump wires
I'm going from tpi to carb, and i want to hook the fuel pump up to a toggle switch. I already took out all of the computer stuff and sensors. So my question is what color, and where are the power and ground wires for the pump.
Thank you

The ground wire is black and grounds to the floor pan near the front of the drivers seat under the carpet. The power wire is tan/white and runs along the driver side door sill under the carpet to connector C100 on the driver side firewall under the dash. From there it goes to the ECM, oil sender/pressure switch, MAF power relay, and the Fuel pump relay

So the power wire is tan, thats what i thought it was but i heard that the 85 had a different color then 86 and up. Also with my computer gone and no fuel pump relay, will my gas gauge still work.

wheres the best place to make a splice to use a switch? as far as cutting into the wiring.
