dashboard making wierd noise

sorry mods wasnt sure where to put this, my dashboard is making this wierd noise i have never heard before, it sounds almost like boiling water, yeh its kind of funny but its starting to get louder as time goes by, i started to notice it about a month ago, it wasnt as loud as it is now, before i would ignore it , got used to the sound but now i have to blast my radio to block the sound off, it seems like its coming from the vents on the dash, anybody ever had this same problem , its driving me crazy

It might be your heater core, does it sound like it is coming from any specific location in the dash?

if you follow the oil gauge to the window, thats where the boiling sound is coming from

Are the heater/air conditioning controls working correctly? You may be hearing a vacuum leak from the HVAC control head or a damaged vacuum line to or from the control.
