416 Heads from my 305?
Ok, i searched the forums, spent an hour reading posts, but they didnt quite satisfy my questions.
14014416 is the casting number i found on my heads. I read that these are good heads. Is this true?
Also, i read that they benefit from a larger intake valve? I'm getting these rebuilt and cleaned and all that, what should I do to them to make them as good as possible?
Thanks.

Do a search for Sitting Bull, or F-BIRD'88, not sure if i got the names right, they have plenty on this subject.

Yes, both Sitting Bull and F-BIRD'88 have excellent write ups on these heads.
With 1.94/1.6 valves, some bowl work and some porting, these heads really can open things up.
