what should my timing be after cam swap?

Engine: 79 4 bolt 350
Transmission: 700r4
what should my timing be after cam swap?

i just got done swapping in some ported 58cc heads, edelbrock performer intake, and comp cams xe268h cam, i also have headers and edelbrock carb but i was wondering what i should set my timing to? it was at 6 degrees advanced and ran good but at 8 it would stutter start. so what should i set it at now? thanks alot

How about start where it was and experiment from there.
