i need to pass inspection
i need to pass inspection
I need to get my car ready to pass an insurance inspection.
One question I have is, when I put the car in reverse it makes a "gzzzzzz" sound followed by a knock. and the car jumps a little. Is this a difficult or expensive problem, or can i fix it myself... or (first of all) what is it???
Also, I got the car from an auction and it had previously been stolen. So the steering column cover is broken and the windshield wiper switch is broken and the highbeams don't work. The signal's, however, do work. I was wondering if anybody might have some information for me as to how the signal switch is connected. There is a black wire that has been "disconnected" from the swtich and a metal wire that looks like a paper clip all bent is sticking out and a metal "L" shaped wire is in there too. I don't know how these need to be connected together, or if they don't.
Automatic 4 speed transmission.
