Front end alignment problem...

alright guys the other day i started driving with no hands shortly and noticed the car went to the right. So i got it checked out and they said something was bent, a tie rod or something, so they couldn't fix it, i refused to pay and left, they wanted to charge me $50 to tell me something was bent and they wouldn't do it, bull fn A. I wont pay crap for that.

So i'm asking you guys what should i get to repair this the cheapest way possible?

I should prolly get the rear checked out also, you never know.

No one can tell you what you need to do to fix your car by simply hearing about a bad experience at a shop. It sucks they tried to charge you to not fix your ride. I suggest calling some shops and ask them if they will inspect your frontend and possible check the alignment at no charge or a nominal charge. My shop does free alignment inspections, because just about everyone gets their car fixed, so it works out for us.

As for the tie rod, maybe it will or won't fix your car. I am inclined to doubt that it is simply that. If you bent a tie rod, then the caster/camber and/or frame is whacked out somewhere. If the tie rod is simple worn out and has play, that alone probably wouldn't cause a pull. And if you were to change it/them out yourself, which is simple, you would still need an alignment or you could destroy your tires in like a week!! No joke...

All of this assumes that the pull is a recent occurance. BTW, don't forget the obvious, check your tire pressure.

Hope this helps...

Don't forget about those annoying tire pulls. See quite a few of those at work for some reason.
