open elements

hey guys i'm going to be buying an open element. is there really much of a difference between lets say the cheap 25 dollar auto zone one.. or the 35 dollar edelbrock one.. or the 80 or 90 dollar k&N one?

i know you're probably going to suggest the k&N but do you think to save a couple bucks i could buy the cheap 25 dollar one and then buy just the k&N replacment filter to have the k&n filter?

do you guys think there will be a noticable difference between the cheap one and k&N

thanks for anybodies input.

with an open element you can just buy the cheaper one and replace the element later with the k&n element later done that before myself
