Is this a mod that is worth doing? Seems very easy and I am wondering if it is worth the effort. If so, what should I expect from my car after I bypass the pump. Thanks alot.

 

Less engine clutter making for easier access to the engine.

It is not consider a performance modification in and of itself since the reduction of weight (several pounds) is not great, and the drag it puts on the engine is also not significant. I doubt anyone could tell the difference in a "blind" test.
