I'm pretty new with this F-body stuff and I'm not exactly a mechanic.however,Today I was cleaning up the engine bay a bit on my 87 Trans Am and I noticed a few strange things. First was a few small wires and vacume hoses arround the carb and under the breather.These lines were not attached to anything,and neatly coiled up and tucked away. Second thing i noticed was a cable coming from the canister, with an electrical plug which really looked like a MAF sensor plug. My engine doesn't have a MAF sensor? WTF?? Another thing, The Thermistat had a plastic plug in it with two small prongs.It had nothing attached to it?? It was just there?

What would you suggest all this means?
