Headers & exhaust - what to do about O2 sensor?
This weekend I am gonna order a set of summit headers ($79.50), a pair of collector flanges (about $8 each), a pair of 2.5" pipes about 4' long, and a couple of loud-*** flows. Im gonna have the headers bolted to the pipes, which have the mufflers welded at the ends, and the mufflers will exit in front of the axle. I think it will sound awesome, and the whole system will cost me about $200. Anyways, is there any way to drill a hole in either the collector or a primary and thread in the O2 sensor? Is there any way to make the engine work without it?

i make my own weld on bungs on my lathe. i tihnk it's 14 x1.5 threads. you can buy weld on bungs from jegs i know and most likely summit too for about ten dollars. just cut a hole in the collector for it and weld on the bung.
