preventive maintenance for 91 firebird
I am living in Korea and it's been my dream to own third generation firebird since I saw it in Florida during my graduate school days at FSU.
I recently bought a 91 firebird with 10k miles for my 39th birthday.
Getting parts is not easy, nor affordable here. One of my friends is returning from Florida to Korea permanently. He agreed to bring parts I would order. To make the best of this opportunity, I want to replace all the necessary parts to keep this car runing for a long time. What do you recommend to replace?

please note, this is what I would do
again what I would do. I would have your friend bring some spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, all the filters (air, fuel, oil, etc), maybe some brake pads and shoes for when those need attention, an egr valve (again when it becomes nessacary). I don't know what you have avalible for fluids in korea so you might want to check into that. thats just basic tune up items; onto the "fun" stuff. headers, hi flow cat, cat back system, any dress up items you may want (chrome valve covers, timing chain cover, things of that nature).
I personally wouldn't do any internal engine mods yet as the engine only has 10k on it. ohh mabe an open element (with a k&n) air filter.
I'm sure that others will add to the list (or comment on mine). essentially I'm suggesting everything that you will need to replace at some point as a maintanice item; as for parts that you will need if/when your car breaks down...well I'll leave that to someone else. hope this helps and enjoy your car
