I want to get an aftermarket set of valve covers and like the look of the elite series covers from edelbrock but I am worried about running into clearance problem with the set of Accel runners I just bolted on. Summitt lists the VCs as being 4 3/8 inches tall. This is about a full inch higher than stock. Not sure that will work. But when I did some measurements it looked like it would be close. I'm also worried about width. Don't want to waste 110 bucks. Thanks.

i had the center bolt edelbrock covers with edelbrocl large tube runners no prob fit great later

I have the AS&M runners with Moroso Centerbolt vlave covers and had a problem getting the cover down inbetween the top of the rocker arm and the runner. I ended up griding away at the inside of the cover to get it down there.
