Car has been sitting since november

And I'm gonna buy a battery and have someone take a look at it. My question is what problems could I encounter as a result of the car sitting for that long?? There is some gas in the tank, and the coolant system has been full the whole time. I've moved the car once to try to prevent flat spots on the tires.... Well?

As long as you disconected the battery, you should have no problem.

Id try to get as much of the old fuel out as possible. It may still be good but better safe than sorry. An oil change is also a good idea.

What happens to the fuel? And what damage could this cause?

nah, less than 1 year old gas should be ok, unless you want to siphon most of it out (GAG). have a charged battery, disconnect the power wire to the distributor and crank the engine a few times to get the oil flowing again and watch the oil pressure gauge go up. Check all fluid levels than run it and look for leaks. Probably should change oil before you drive anywhere. Thats if it was in running condition before. If you are not sure of the condition you can try to turn the engine over by hand with a wrench. If it is not siezed up you can remove the plugs and clean them with a wire wheel and shoot some WD-40 in the plug holes to lube the rusty motor up. This worked great for a car I tested that sat ober 8 years, fired up after less than 1 hours of work and sounded good!!!

On my last project the car sat for 15 months and started right up and ran great with that same gas.
