HOT or Cold Plug?

Is Bosch +4 a hot or a cold plug? I am using those in my car for about a 8 months now and I read somewhere that the cold plugs would be better.

Also changing to 0.045 inch gap be beneficial at all or not?

Thanks.

depends on the plug. they have different heat codes. running too cold of a plug will cause you problems with fouling. too hot can cause detonation. i dont think theres that much performance gain from a plug heat range, getting the right heat range just eliminates fouling/detonation.
you cant change the gap on bosch platinum +4 plugs. theres 4 electrodes.
