Egr?

How can you tell if your EGR valve/solenoid is bad? Can it be bad and not throw a code?

You can check the solenoid continuity with an ohmmeter. The EGR solenoid resistance should be acceptable between 30-100 ohms. An ideal solenoid (new) should be 32-35 ohms.
