Etec heads

i was just down at the machine shop picking up some parts and they guy mentioned the new edelbrock etec heads, apparently an aluminum vortec copy. Anyone have any experience? I had never heard of them before.

I saw a set of the Etec 200 heads today at Dyno Don's. He is going to use them on his build up. Nice looking set of heads. It's my understanding that you have to use the Vortex style intakes with them. This may or may not be problem depending on your wallet and what you want to build. Allen
