Ignition Problem - Not your everyday thing...
I went outside to startup the car so i could go off to school. I clicked the key forward to let the pump prime...Then i went to turn it over and it wouldn't let me go any further... I got back from school and still that way....Finally i somehow got it to turn and was able to crank the engine over....but when i came back home from riding around...it did the same thing... Could this be something with the cylinder that the key goes into? Everything else works, clicking it backward works, forward for 'on', but no further than on.... What's causeing this? Hopefully i was able to explain it good enough..Just one of those hard to explain things...

When I first got my iroc I couldn't start it a couple times because of this, it takes some getting used to. I kind of forgot about it, its just a way of pushing the key in or something. If you can't get it to work just pull the key out and push inward then try...it is kind of a wierd thing the locks do. I figured it was supposed to be that way.

I -think- i figured it out, i looked at it closer, and then compared to my cousins 92 camaro. I think a clip or screw or something came out. It's sticking out of farther than it should, and if i wiggle it around i can get it started (normally push in and up).

I've seen this before, it's broken/worn out. I wouldn't keep using the 'wiggle' method to start if for very long. Eventually it won't start, and you will be stuck.
