I found a 88 trans am for 1500 with 112000 miles on it. It is all in tact and in good running condition. It a red car with a blue hood and a cracked windshield. Ineterior decent. it's an automatic with t-tops and it seems as though it would be a great car for me. I don't mind the body and hood because i can handle the work and paint myself. I need tips when looking at it mechanically. From what I described up above, do you think its a good buy for 1500? Please help

you can get a better car without a broken winshield for $1200. unless it's running real good, which I doubt it is.
