Switching from MAF to S/D

I've got an 89 L98 and am thinking about switching to speed density. My next major mod will be either a mini ram,or a ram jet manifold and I think both are S/D systems. My question is,what will I need?I know I'll need an S/D ECM,but will it plug into my wiring harness? Thanks

You need the ECM, the PROM, a new wiring harness (or you CAN modify your existing one, its not a plug-n-play) and a new knock sensor, along with the MAP sensor. There's probably some more I'm missing...

If you want to use your existing harness you will need to get the speed density integrator and wiring for the MAP sensor from Street and Performance in Arkansas (www.tunedport.com). If you call them ask to speak to Tony. He has helped me out a lot with my swap and the few problems that I have had with my integrator. They have always been very helpful and polite. Of course you will need the MAP sensor. Post any other q's you got, I may be able to help.
