Carbon fouled plugs: is this normal to see them get like this quickly?
After installing new ones, I can expect them to get in this condition by about month 2. I do mostly city driving. Is this normal, or is there something I can do to prevent this? Thanx.

I had the same exact problem but the only difference was my plugs would become carbon fouled in about a day.I know my MAF was shot cause the wire in it was broke, and i dont know if that had anything to do with it,but when i replaced it,i also put in Bosch Platinum +4 plugs,Accel 300+ race wires, and a Hypertech Coil(it gives you over 50,000 volts). And i also fixed the problem i had, where the EGR diagnostic temp switch wire broke off the sensor,so to be totally honest with you,i dont know which did it for me,but i would look into all those things and see if your MAF has a broken wire inside or if the wire in connected to you EGR diagnostic temp switch,if all else fail, between the plugs, wires and coil, they never foul, probally if yuo just get the plugs youll be ok,i dunno though.Just my personal experience.Good Luck
OH Yea,i forgot one more important thing,i alos changed my O2 sensor,id check your out cause it might be the problem, good luck.
