Lt4 Real Performance Numbers
HEY GUYS QUICK QUESTION, SUMMIT IS SELLING THE LT4 KIT SAYING IT WILL GIVE U 425HP IS THIS ACCURATE SEEING HOW LT4 GS VETTES ONLY HAD 330HP??? IF ANYONE HAS THIS SET UP PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW YOUR PERFORMS THANKS - TOT

The LT4 in the grand sport was underrated. It had more like 350-360 hp and that was with the stock LT4 cam which is just an LT1 cam with 1.6 roller rockers and better springs+ the LT4 heads.The GM kit has the LT4 HOT cam and that is why the HP numbers go up over 400. This is assuming you have a perfect tune on your computer too.

ok so i should expect to get around 400 with that kit. does any one have any input on this kit it sells for around 2000 and its listed in summit, please drop a line and let me know what u think
