MSD Ignition
Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone on here is running any of MSD's components. If so...what all do I need to convert my stock ignition to an MSD ignition.
Also are there any gains from upgrading to an MSD ignition. Will my car start quicker cuz as it stands I turn the key and have to let the starter spin for a good 2 seconds before the car starts. MSD Claims that it will lower emmissions due to a better spark which will burn fuel more efficiently. I like this idea which is why I am seriously considering MSD for this job...well that and I like the colour red
any advice on this would be great.

Lots of people have MSD stuff. I have MSD everything. You will see gains in different areas. If you have a stock ignition, it will be fairly noticable. When a friend was putting an MSD together he thought he would check for spark by holding the plug....1/2 hour later back he got the feeling back in the right upper part of his body, stock it only jolts you. If you already have accel, it won't be as noticable. You can usually expect better gas mileage, a mile or so.
