i have a 1988 trans am gta 305.... when i got the car the speed sensor wasnt reading the speed of the car. So i changed the sensor it self and the gear also, and its still not working..... What eles could be done so i know how fast im going

 

hey man im having the same problem. check to see if the speedometer works after hooking a drill up to the sensor. if it does then it is something within the housing. sensor could be mounted up wrong..... still haven't found the cure for mine.

I just read an article that said the cause of the problem might be the ignition module. I am leaving the link to this page. keep me posted.
