question on removal of that ac/heater box

you know the big black box im talking about? in the passenger side firewall? i decided its time to take it all out.. i got the top half out, and the heater core radiator-looking thing out.. so its now just the plastic shell and of coarse, the big hole in the firewall. question is.. i cant get the bottom part of that plastic shell off.. is their a bolt directly underneath it or something? and whats the easiest way to reach it?

When i took mine out, i utilized weapon "X." I swung the hammer at it and called it bad names. Came out REAL quick....in 1984623974 pieces.

I've done 2 now, the first one i did in my Formula with the motor in and therel a couple screws down where you can't really see them, the second one i did was in my Iroc with the motor removed, it made it alot easier.

Also there a 2 bolts you need to remove from the INSIDE of the car, behind the passenger dash under the carpet. and then the adhesive seal can be a little tough (back under the hood) i used a pry bar to break it loose.
hope that helps.
