Idea for accurate gas tank readings, opinions?
ok so i was thinking, in my course of overhauling this and that on my truck, id like an accurate gauge for my gas tank. i was thinking about an inline sensor on the fuel line that would measure the exact volume of fluid that passed through it, maybe have it wired to an LCD display on the dash or something. I could even somehow link it all up into the odometer and have it calc mpg on another display, kind of like the newer cars with that feature. i just hate having my tank read empty and still having 7 gallons left, or reading half full and running on fumes. what do you guys think...possible?

1. Anything is possible. Yes this as well.
2. Why? A 94 should have no problem, just get used to your vehicle. I have no problem on my bike and I have no gas guage.
3. You meant thirdgen riiiiiggghhhht??

I always thought there should be a sensor in the front of the tank and a sensor in back of the tank, and then take the average of the two readings somehow..
