car buying tips??
Allright guys I'm probably going to buy my first camaro later this week. It's an 89rs. He's asking 4700cdn. Anyone got any good bargaining tips? I was thinking of offering 4000 cash. Too low? or should I play the bargaining game?

How long has it been for sale? If it's been awhile, he may be ready to sell.
Don't worry about offending him. He's asking that much because he wants to start high and build in a little bargaining room (probably). I suggest look at the car, drive it, and decide how much you are willing to pay. Make an offer and bargain up to the price you're willing to pay. If he won't take it, it's probably not the car for you anyway.
just my $.02

Looking for a V8, preferably 4 or 5 speed Camaro with NO T-tops (wanna trade?)

Never buy it for what they are asking and never buy from a dealer (cept new) try to check everything throrougly and if you find problems point them out and deduct accordingly from the price. Check it inch by inch i'm serious, it may take forever but in the long run it's worth it to not have to deal with problems they conviently forgot to mention or tried to hide.
