hey guys, today i was putting in my 3.27 posi rear and when re-attaching the universals collar on the one side the bolt stoped turning in and started slipping... could it be rusted? i guess this is called a yoke that the bolt holes are rusted or worn or sumthing... did i do sumthing wrong? how much is a new yoke ? why is this such a b1tch?... lol... thanx guys... i need this done by sunday so i can get to my sisters wedding... sooo please HELP ME!!:hail: :hail: :hail: :hail:

 

sounds like its stripped.. you could try tapping it to the next size up, if you need a replacement you could get one at the junkyard.. I see your in hamilton, the Pick-a-part across the Trenton Makes bridge in morrisville has plenty of third gens you could get one off of. If ya need directions pm me.

 

yea i think its stripped from the rust... my friend from work has a nice Snap on tap and dye set, cordless impact and sockets, and any wrench ill need.... sooo hes gonna help me out on saturday.... thanx for the help tho... im gonna pm you about some stuff... thanx again bro
