Whats this green wire?

This is for an 89 GTA, with obviously TPI.

When we were tearing apart the engine I found this loose wire, and I can't find what it came off of. So I'm asking you guys.

Its coming from the drivers side of the car. Anyone know?

Hmm....you know what! That makes sense! I wondered where that came from. Can I buy a new one, and just splice the wire? Mines probably bad in any case.

Yes, it's servicable through GM. Don't remember the cost.
