When I try to start my car, it doesn't act like it wants to start. When you turn the key, it just goes tick, tick, tick...probably from the starter. Battery should be fine...all accesories work including interior lights and radio. The engine doesn't even try to turn over which is telling me starter, but I don't know if it is bad or maybe stuck or possibly not getting enough uummpph from the battery. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Bad connection battery cable to battery

Take them apart, clean them up with a wire brush, and some baking soda and water.

That's what my starter did before it died and when it did work it barely turned the motor over slowly.

Thanks for help. Turns out the battery was corroded real bad. Took it to the parts store and the battery itself was bad. New one seems to have done the trick. Thanks again.
