Need verification of engine block code!
hello i went to this website:http://www.nastyz28.com/spmenu.html to look up the code for my engine which is "V1013SDK" i am wondering just to make absolutely sure that it is a 305. if anyone has a book with the numbers can just verify that it is a 305. thank you in advance!

lol i always look at the balancer most cases a stock 350 has a thinner looking balancer while your 305 balancer is bigger. i got burned $450 on a 305 before and ever since then i can tell them apart.

just looking at a balancer wont do it you need to take a list of the engine casting numbers with you anytime you go to look at an engine to buy so you dont get burned on one again ....you can go to nastyz28 and copy and print out their whole casting number pages and take them with you for a reference
