when I put the VIN of the '90 RS I'm about to buy into the thirdgen VIN decoder, it says the car has a "305 ci V8 L03 (1988-1992)" engine. Does this mean it is TBI or TPI (plz say TPI)

All I need i either TPI/TBI, thx in advance for any help.

Anyubody dissapointed by their TBI engine should take a look at this. Its a VERY long read, but VERy informative

Don't be disappointed that it might be a TBI. If you want to have a breathing TBI, check into using a dual TBI 22 setup. You disconnect one IAC and one TPS, linkage the two units together, plumb the fuel lines, and find a custom PROM writer. Bolt the two units to adapters on a dual quad intake and have fun beating up on "regular" cars.

Theres not a single hard fact on there, its all theory by a guy who never modded any of those thirdgens he talks about. I wouldnt take his advice, I would go to the TBI board and find Pablo, Fastbroker, and most importantly NJSpeeder.
