gotta question

theres this part in my engine thats not hook up its next to the intake lid i think its the breather or somthign called like that i think its affectin the way my car is runnin big time ne body can help ?

Here is the image he wants to post.

if the part in the red box is the little elbow that plugs into the air cleaner assembly, that is part of the PCV system. It connects to the passenger side valve cover.

Wont affect performance really, its just a crank case vent. It will get everything all gross and oily if you leave it open though.

For the price of PCV components, I would just fix it. The valve is like $3. The little cotton filter thing that resides in the filter housing, that's another $3 tops.

I personally am a fan of what the PCV does.
