ignition
is it possible to do away with my stock ignition setup? I have a a non ECM 305 HEI stock ignition, I want to know if I could add say a MSD Blaster coil setup? Is it hard and would I still have the in cap coil?

MSD makes both a coil-in-cap version (what I'm running in the '57), and an external version. The external requires an adapter for use with the normal large cap HEI distributor.

I want to use the box and mount it on the firewall, so I would still need the in cap coil? I really don't like the stock setup
like a MSD 6 A or something, if it is possible?

You can use an in-cap coil with the MSD 6, or you can use the adapter five7kid mentions and use an external coil.

Check the instructions on MSD's website, they have all kinds of wiring diagrams to show how everything works.
