OK...NO START...starter? ignition switch?
Got gas ... checking out the chics who might have needed help with their camaro...paid for gas...chics drive off...my car won't start. All I had with me was a flash light. Wasn't sure where the starter was since I couldn't get under my car. Tried to tap it anyway with my flashlight wher I thought it was.
No click, not cranking, no turn...plenty of battery. Headlights ok, inside light okay, radio and power antenna same as always. No cramking. Tow truck called. I was thinking that some p/n switch had somehting to do with it. I'm banging my gear shift back and forth. No crank. Wait a while. Young guy from Goodyear place stops to help. he doesn't have a clue. I thought of trying to disconnect my computer to maybe reset it, but no tools. Don't know if I can do it form the engine bay. For some reason it finally decides to turn over and up it starts. Car wasn't hot...I had just left work about 1/10 of a mile. My dad thinks its the starter. I just moved to this town and can't get under my car to check voltage or anything. I could try and drive it 230 miles home to get under it this weekend.
So...starter?

I am thinking it may be the starter because there wasn't a click or cranking.
While you are at it, disconnect the negative battery for a few min, then put it back on. That should reset your computer (Along with your clock on your radio), also right beside your battery, there should be a cable that is attached to the inner wall on the fender. Pull it out and it should reveal a yellow fuse. Remove it, then put it back in. It will also reset the computer.

When checking stuff like this, don't forget to go over all connections very carefully.
Just because the connection looks good, doesn't mean it is.
You need to figure out if the starter is getting the signal to it when its not working.
This will tell you what direction to go in, otherwise you are just guessing.
If you can't get under the car, you should find the trigger wire in a loom either running behind the alt., heading down to the starter, or at the rear of the pass. side cylinder head. Should be purple. (I can't remember which location on these things.
