Can this type be used on my car?

Yes, it's a pretty straight forward and simple installation.

You'll need to block off the stock mechanical fuel pump location w/ a block off kit.

You WON'T need a fuel pressure regulator for this one.

You'll need to hook up a 'keyed hot (+) wire' and a ground (-) wire (to frame) to operate the fuel pump.

I have mine mounted halfway under the car (driver's side - mid door), 6" in front (towards engine) of the in line fuel filter.
