how much horse power can be gained by installing underdrive pulleys? thanks.

 

Well man it a debatable issue. I've read of cars who install it, then dyno and get the same HP. I have heard a few people say they gain a tenth at most. My opinion is dont do it, its a waste of money, get something that'll do work gaurenteed. A tenth at most aint worth it for the price and labor. Two friends of mine got them and felt no gained and ran the same time.

well i've got to disagree with cruising 270 if i can gain a tenth for 100 dollars it'd be a bargin. considering how easy it is to swap to underdrive pullies and gain a tenth for little effort it'd be all that much better. there has been a lot of debate here on the advantages of them but few people with actual time slips to support what they say.
