Cam is too small for the heads and the CR. You've got giant ports, but the cam only barely cracks the valves open. You're wasting a sizable portion of the flow you've paid for by buying those heads.

Carb is too small. It will lean-bog with the lightest spring on that small of a motor.

With a Comp XE274H, 1.6 roller rockers, and a Holley 750, it will be in the very low 13s, maybe crack the 12s. As you have it described, I'd guess 13.5-13.6. However, with the motor's mismatches corrected, you will have a serious traction problem off the line; you'll definitely need some rear suspension work to get the most out of the motor.

Thanks for your input RB83L69
Car came with the dart heads.Cam,carb and
intake are a compromise to try to meet
emissions. The carb spring I havent had a chance to really test.I know everyone says
my cam is too small but I dont really like
high stall converters and this cam has great
bottom end and should let me keep the shift
points safely bellow 6000rpms
THANKS AGAIN

well rb beat me to it. the cam is too small and i'd say the carb also. i'd run a weiand stealth intake instead of edlebrock. you have real close to the engine i built for my sons 88 camaro. he's running a lunati bracket master with .515 lift (i think) plus 1.6 roller rockers, brings the lift to around .550.

I know my cam is small but it is emissions
legal. I know the xe274 is not.Im not sure
about the lunati.Maximum performance is not my ultimate goal. What I want is good street manners with no bad side affects(low vacuum,
loss of bottom end torque, hard hot starts)
I know from previous experience that this
cam will work with stock torque converter
and will pull to 6000rpms and thats what I
was looking for.I also heard that with the
700r4 that the large gear spacing favours a
long flat tourqe curve.I hope that I am not
too far off base.
THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR INPUT
