Ok, does any one know if the 1le intake for the firebird \transam\GTA is different than the ones they used for non 1le cars,(the P.O.S. that was put there originally is a joke and i'm trying to free a few horses,

For speed density setup I can definitely say no. I've never heard of a special intake but I don't doubt it exists.

 

Isn't the ILE option just suspension mods anyway?
I never heard of ILE cars having anything different done to the engine.

 

My friend has a 1LE TA... it has the same
Sh!tty intake as my 88 GTA.

nope, nope and nope. All the same, only thing even close to the engine they touched was a beefier fuel pump. 1LE is all about brakes, suspension, and geeting rid of nonessential parts.
