trying to find coolant leak.

I have a mysterious coolant leak.. I put a paper towel under the truck .. it's leaking very little making harder to find.. looks like probably only drips one or two drops overnight. I tried lookind underneath where the drip was but can't see anything.. seems to be between the rad & engine. maybe the water pump? or the hose? the engine only has about 8000kms on it since the rebuild a few years ago. the water pump and hoses where new. I did use stainless bolts on the water pump and I found I was able to turn them a 1/4 turn each last night. but after driving it and gettingnice and hot last night.. I checked this morning and it dripped again. any tips tricks or known places to check?

thanks in advance

check those hose clamps!
remember, you can't tighen em too tight before the hose splits!if the rubber is starting to bulbe between the serrations in the clamp it's tight enough.

if the water pump leaked, the gaskets are no good now.if the water pump is bad,it will leak out of the weep hole on the bottom of tne neck, under the pulley.look close to figure exactly where the leak is

well it looks like it's actually power steering fluid. I put another paper towel underneath and checked it tonight.. it's right under the pump and sure enough there was a drop on the bottom. I looked at the pulley shaft and it's wet.. must but the seal that's bad. a friend of mine works at the local chev dealership. I'm going to bring it there anyway so I can put it on the hoist and make sure nothing else is leaking.. although my garage floor is always very clean and i haven't noticed any other spots. just seemed weired that a few weeks ago I had to top the coolant overflow. unless it just evaporated.. it's 50/50 mix.
