timing cover and chain questions
im getting a new timing cover and i think im gunna go the fancy way and get the chrome one from autozone i think made by spectra or something. well i looked at it and it doesnt have the timing marker on it. its just sitting in the package. i was wondering how i put that on there when i get it? i dont have to weld it or anything do i? also will a comp cams magnum double roller timing chain fit under it and will it fit the stock size dowel pin in the cam? thanks alot

just a heads up...
cheap chrome tin like spectre leak easily... they're a royal PAIN to seal.
if you want it shiny, spend a lil more on a polished cast alum timing cover... same goes for oil pans and valve covers.. just my 2 cents...
anyhoo, the timing pointer bolts on using the same two bolts that hold the cover on. if one didnt come with it, then you need to buy one.. its under $5 and on the same isle as the other spectre stuff.
