removing fuel lines?
i need to remove the metal fuel line from the fuel filter up to the engine, what is the best way? i have removed all the screws that hold it in place, but i cannot find which way it is easier to remove, from the engine bay or from underneath?

Once you get all the screws out of the holding brackets, disconnect the fuel line at the rubber flex hose. It will be a tight fit and a lot of strange words being muttered. You will also have to slide the collar back off the steering column to get the line past it. You will also have to remove the mount bracket for the brake line. Not the line itself, just the bracket that holds it to the chassis. You will have to be under the car pulling the line to the rear of the car and twisting it at times. I also hope that you have removed the fuel line from the metal clips that secure all the lines together. If you haven't done this you won't get that line out. Trust me, I have done this twice with just the front end of the car on ramps. I would also get a plug of some kind to put in the fuel filter fitting or line to keep fuel from constantly running out the tank. Even with a plug in the line, I had a headache for two weeks from smelling that gas.
