I recently did some work on my car (heads, cam, intake swap) and now my speedometer isn't working. I hooked a scanner up to my computer and it read the speed so I know the sensor is working. I was no where near any of the wireing for the guage. Is there any other connectors under the dash, or under the hood I can check, or is my guage shot? BTW, the car is a 91.

Sounds like what happened to me, I put my car up on a ramp and changed the sparkplugs, then went for a ride and the speedo didn't work, I thought I had maybe pulled a wire loose but never could find a problem, took it to a friend of mine whos a good mechanic and he traced the problem to a bad speedo, so I picked up a used cluster at a boneyard for $50 and that fixed the problem and the car ended up with 40,000 less miles on it, but don't tell anyone

 

I'm really hoping I don't have to replace the guage! Allthough I am really diggin drivin my car without puttin any miles on it!!
