I need a better radiator, I see several different styles on the market and dont know which would work the best. I have an 85 Z, used for street and strip, mostly strip. Its fitted with a 385ci, 14:1 CR with a 700R. Please help!!

14:1 compression !!!! You better get a fat 3 core aluminum rad with a heavy duty fan. That thing will sure need some good cooling. Good luck

14:1 ? Unless you plan on running at least C12 fuel, that engine would be better on alcohol. If it's running on alcohol then a big rad isn't required. The engine will have a hard enough time building enough heat.

Your 700R4 won't last long and is a poor choice for a "strip" car.
