Help
Why is my engine sending blue smoke?
They did a leak down test and nothing wrong , so they changed the valve steam seals and fixed a lightly damaged valve but it still smokes.
It seems to be on cyl number 8 because it has grey ash on the sparkplug, all other sparkplugs looks really nice.
Could it be the head gasket or intake gasket ???

A leak-down test only checks the compresion rings, not the oil control rings. It is possible for one to be good and the other bad.
The oil burning possibilities are: Rings, valve stem seals, and intake manifold gaskets.

Ok, im going to remove the head since the valve was damaged maybe the valve seat is damaged. That could explain it, im also removing the intake gasket while im at it.
