CODE 32 after 4 hour trip. Any suggestions?
86 TA tpi 305 auto. I took a 4 hour highway trip at around 75mph for 260 miles and the engine light came on for the last 25 miles then went off when I got into town.
I got code 32 and the tech board diagnosis here said:
32. Fault in barometric pressure sensor circuit OR
Fault in exhaust gas recirculation valve diagnostic switch OR
Fault in electronic vacuum regulator valve
Its a MAF car so I can rule the barometric pressure sensor circuit out.
The vaccum lines to the egr seem ok and are connected. I have made several mods that could cause the computer to be particular like a fabricated K&N airfilter setup.... but I have never had trouble codes before. The longest trip I took prior to this incident was about 1 hour and the engine light never came on.
I just started it up again and the light is off for now.
Any ideas?
Thanks
