Can I get rollar lifters for my non rollar block?

I'm not too certain if i have a rollar block, are there any rollar lifters that can be used?
will they work with a hydraulic cam as well?

I've had several people say you gain tons of performance with rollar lifters, like 30hp
anyone experianced this?

Dude... before you get too far ahead of yourself, you may want to read a few things about cam shafts in general. Roller lifters vs flat tappet... solid vs hydrolic... what year car do you have?... stock springs?... torque converter?... gears?... heads?... There are SOOOO many things you need to take into consideration before you go about choosing the proper cam for your car.

FYI- hydrolic roller lifters started around 86 or 87 I think. I have flat tappet hydrolics in my 84...

to answer your question yes you can run roller lifters in a non roller block, you just have to go with aftermarket parts, at a very high cost. like you were told you should check out comp ot lunati catalogs for some basic info.

'87 started the factory roller cams in both the 305's and 350's.
