SBC400 Damper/Balancer?

Correct me if I am wrong, but SB400 Harmonic Balancers appear physically wider and smaller in diameter to normal run of the mill 350 dampers don't they? Unsure, can't remember.

I'm not sure about the 400, but there are at least two different sizes of "normal" SBC dampers used on internally balanced engines.

they're all 8" and they have a section cut out like in RBs pic below.

atleast stock style ones.

aftermarket ones can look identical, except they have a weight or material machined off somewhere... aftermarket ones usually do this on the inside of the lip so it doesnt look wierd..
