This is what the jegs catalog says about crane cams' guide plates. "Heat treated and carburized pushrods must be used with these guideplates, or premature pushrod wear and failure will occur." I see ads for hardened pushrods everywhere but not for carburized ones, what does it mean? Where can I get a set and how much do they cost?
