I just changed my thermostat gasket, then all of a sudden i have a ton of problems, i dont know if they are related or coincidence. When the air cleaner assembly is not on the car, it stalls out in a matter of seconds, but when its on it runs fine, wtf is up with that? Also my choke light goes on at random times. Sometimes when i start it up the choke light will come on and stay on, some times i will be driving for an our streight then it will just pop on, some times if i shut the car off and turn it on again, it will go out. My best guess is the alternator, i just bought a new one today and im gonna put it in tommorow, but could this be another problem, and why does the car stall w/o the air cleaner on?
